In 2023 the Napier District Masonic Trust established the Gasperich Scholarship fund for NDMT Health Care Assistants wishing to pursue a nursing career.
In February this year, two of the Napier District Masonic Trust Health Care Assistants received scholarships from the fund to begin their journey towards achieving a Batchelor of Nursing and becoming Registered Nurse Practitioners.
By the end of their studies, it is expected Denise and Jessie will have integrated the theory and practice framework to develop into confident nursing practitioners.
Each of the recipients will receive study assistance of $5000 per year for the next 3 years.
